Hello PyeongChang

It's only one month away to PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games!

In conjunction with D-30 countdown to the Games, Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Malaysia and Gangwon Province is organizing “Hello PyeongChang” from 11-13 January 2018 in Korea Plaza Kuala Lumpur (it is at Ground Floor of Menara Hap Seng, Jalan P. Ramlee)

There will be activities as below; 

Take a photograph with Soohorang & Bandabi
11 - 12 Jan : 12~12.30pm, 1~2pm


Soohorang and Bandabi are the mascots of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Soohorang is a white tiger, an animal closely related to Korean mythology, and is a symbol of trust, strength, and protection. Bandabi is an Asiatic black bear, symbolic of strong will and courage.

Wish for Successful Olympic and Malaysia Boleh @ PyeongChang
11 - 13 Jan : 11~3pm

Julian Yee Zhi-Jie is the first Malaysian skater qualified for Winter Olympic Games. This new rising figure skater had joined Dream Program in PyeongChang back in 2009. He was then inspired that PyeongChang is a potential Winter Olympic venue and got motivated to be back someday. As he wished, now he became the first Malaysian skater to qualify for Winter Olympics and is ready for it. Visitors can write a short note to wish him a successful Olympic and Malaysia Boleh at PyeongChang.

Hit! 20180209 and Win Soohorang & Bandabi

This spin slot game event entitled “Hit 20180209!” is for everyone to push the button to hit the opening date of 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic and win 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic mascot (Soohorang and Bandabi) plush sets.

Play Mini Ice hockey & Curling Game
11 - 13 Jan : 11~3pm


Ice hockey game and curling game to be held in Gangneung city are popular Olympic games. Visitors can play ice hockey game and kick the puck with hockey stick to win away limited prizes. Curling with the nickname of chess on ice is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice towards a target area which is segmented into four concentric circle. Visitors can make teams to play together.

Special GoGoSing Seminar 《Christmas in March》
12 Jan : 5~6.30pm
13 Jan : 11~12.30pm

Winter still goes on in March. The special seminar Christmas in March is for free and easy tourists who are planning to visit Korea and grab the last chance to feel the Winter vibe. It is the Hallyu & Ski Festival specially designed by Korea Tourism Organization and Gangwon province to commemorate PyeongChang 2018 Winter Paralympic Games together.
